I always enjoyed and still enjoy to sit on the other side of the pileup.
It is a real thrill to be the hunted not the hunter. My first "honest" DXpedition as C6A/DL7VOG in 1993 brought 2723 QSOs within 2 weeks. Not even breathtaking, compared to my last trips to San Andrés as HK
ŘGU with about 11.000 and 13.000 QSOs. Of course I have to declare, that my DXpeditions are always "One-man-shows" and I am travelling with my XYL (in ham radio chinese: Ex Young Lady) Erika. I won't compete with others for a new DXpeditions world record, because there are some more things we want to do when we are on vacation. Meeting people, sightseeing, SCUBA diving, snorkelling and and and ...  But my XYL Erika always supported my activities with enthusiasm and patience.

If you click to the QSL cards below, you can get some information about country and people, accomodations, how to get a ham radio licence and you will find some useful addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses of the respective country.
I have collected some practical knowledge about those islands, I want to share with others. If you have any additional questions or information,
send me an e-mail.
